Hiking
We have some hiking trails in the forest, close to the campsite. The hiking trails are well marked, and you can enjoy the silence and gorgeous views if you try them.
Fishing
Sandnes Camping is located just off the Mandal River, which is one of Norways best salmon rivers. You can get info and buy fishing license on www.mandalselva.no.
Swimming
Sandnes Camping is next to the Mandal River, and here´s a great opportunity to swim. A small beach, floating dock and a large green area make this a place to spend the day for the whole family.
For kids
Unfortunately, there is no playground at the campsite, but it is possible to borrow tractors for the youngest children. There is a playground about 200 meters from the campsite.
Rent a bike
We have bikes for rent which are great for a city tour or a slightly longer trip in the area. Please ask us for tips on tours.
